Policy Statement

Leegal Contracts Ltd is committed to conducting business ethically and with integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, compulsory labour, servitude, and human trafficking. We are committed to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within our business or supply chain.

This policy supports compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and reflects our commitment to protecting human rights and maintaining ethical standards.

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All employees and directors of Leegal Contracts Ltd.

  • Agency workers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Any person acting on behalf of Leegal Contracts Ltd.

Responsibilities

David Gallagher, Managing Director, has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy is implemented and reviewed regularly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting ethical business practices.

  • Assessing and managing risks relating to modern slavery.

  • Ensuring appropriate due diligence is undertaken within the supply chain.

  • Investigating concerns and taking appropriate action where necessary.

Employees and Contractors

All employees and contractors are expected to:

  • Comply with this policy.

  • Remain vigilant to the risk of modern slavery.

  • Report concerns promptly.

  • Cooperate with investigations where required.

Supply Chain Due Diligence

Leegal Contracts Ltd seeks to:

  • Work with reputable suppliers and contractors.

  • Ensure suppliers comply with applicable laws and ethical standards.

  • Include anti-slavery requirements within contractual agreements where appropriate.

  • Review supplier relationships periodically and address any identified concerns.

Reporting Concerns

Any employee, contractor, supplier or stakeholder who suspects that modern slavery or human trafficking may be taking place must report concerns to the Managing Director immediately.

Reports will be treated confidentially. No individual who raises a genuine concern in good faith will suffer retaliation or detrimental treatment.

Breaches of this Policy

Leegal Contracts Ltd will not tolerate any form of modern slavery. Any breach of this policy by employees, contractors or suppliers may result in disciplinary action and/or termination of business relationships.

Training and Awareness

Leegal Contracts Ltd will provide appropriate information and awareness to employees to help identify and prevent the risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking.

Monitoring and Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if required due to changes in legislation, business activities or identified risks.
